Found Following:
"You use pg_dump to do hot backups of a database" Please re-phrase this sentence as "You use pg_dump to do export of the objects of a database and its data" HotBackup is a filesystem backup of PG.
While it is shown in the cheat sheet examples there is no mention of the -i switch in the cheat sheet.

We left it out because it has been deprecated and actually just ignored now. Check the docs http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.0/interactive/app-pgdump.html
Ah didn't see your last note. We'll take it out of the examples. We must have had some left over from before.
