Did someone forget to renew the domain name, or was something more sinister afoot?
As being as I can't get on to the website, maybe you will answer a question for me: in which version was the function st_geomfromewkb added?
Renewal issue nothing sinister.
st_geomfromewkb used to exist by name geomfromewkb pre 1.3 -- the new ST_ got added somewhere in the 1.2.+ something period as I recall. So in short the function has existed for a while by that or some other name.
And test binaries for PostGIS 1.5.2SVN (r6009) for PostgreSQL 9.0 Windows x64 are available at http://symbiatch.jutut.fi/article/2955 if someone needs them.
Sami,
Thanks -- I'll post on WIKI and Newsgroup too when get chance. FYI: We do plan to compile using VC++ in future and PostGIS will also eventually be changing to CMake as well. The reason we haven't so far is mostly share laziness. We just haven't gone thru setting up our VS to do all of that (and doing the make checks I imagine would be difficult). Prior to 1.4 (or was it 1.3), PostGIS did not compile against VS until Mateusz put in the effort to get it to do so. http://mateusz.loskot.net/2009/03/29/building-postgis-using-visual-cpp/ |
